Ah yeah, I've seen that happen. I found hitting skip then stopping it then backing up worked fine. It does it an annoying amount there are several threads about it with different solutions further back in the the forum
Developer of the game engine (many have to come to question why the engine is important). Motkeyz is using renpy for his next game (solo project) which implies the lack of value add in the engine created for LL.
Polishing update is a mischaracterization, more like fucking it up raw and trying to fix it for the past 8 months. This final version should have been released months ago according to Motz, however, Aesouh’s cutesy engine has been a cluster fuck preventing final release for whatever reason not provided…

Given how long it's been already, I'm not expecting it any time soon regardless of the recent post. Maybe another month or two at the pace "soon" has been coming.

Return to your last choice, and go through this until to you enter Bacon's room. Then put the game on Auto, and you should get through the block.
