Yeah, on firefox there's no background images. Literally the entire mansion is just a black screen aside from UI elements.

Fun concept to apply to an adult game, I hope you continue working on it, it is a cool game.

A possible suggestion, maybe a skill increase for the delivery job to reduce the number of time the pizza is messed up. It feels like it happens quite often. And if it's not already the case, increase the odds of a sexual encounter with higher beauty.

This isn't a ghost hunting game. This is a "Memorize 3 things" game that makes you fight to earn the right to fight ghosts.

The whole daytime loop just seems like an unneeded grind. You only have 10 energy, and nothing seems to make that go up. With that 10 energy, a trip to the gym takes 5. That's half. It doesn't increase your energy. Nope. It just increases fitness... and it takes 5 fitness to equal one beauty. You can take a nap, or watch tv or porn.... None of which restores energy. Only a full 8 hour sleep does.

You start at 30 beauty. Unlocking anything seems to happen at 45. So, 15 more. aka, 75 fitness. A minimum of 38 trips to the gym, which you can only do twice a day, if you spend no energy on anything else and only do group fitness sessions. Don't do that right away though. You need to buy the fitness clothes, which cost every dollar you start with, and leaves you with none for ghost hunting.

Why is 45 beauty so important? Well, that's so that the lame "memorize 3 things" delivery job can pay more than 9 dollars, at the cost of 3 energy per shift. Why do you want to do that in a ghost hunting game? Beats me. But you have to do it. It's inescapable.

Why do you have to? Each contract costs $35 to even attempt. Get it right, and you get $100. Get it wrong, you get $0. You can learn about 5 ghosts from the library, and then you're limited to 1 per day at your computer. There are 15 in the game. So, for 10 days, you don't even have the information to find all the ghosts.

Then, when you are hunting the ghosts, finding evidence is very much rng.

So, day 1: Starting cash, $100. 3 deliveries, +27. Ghost info, 0. Your helper, locked. Use PC for 1 ghost. Go to church and get holy water. Go to witch and get intro text. Go to library and get either Brook (your helper) or info on another ghost.

Day 2: Starting cash $127. 3 deliveries +27 Ghost info 2. Use PC and library.
Day 3-5: Do the same thing.
Day 6: Probably no reason for the library anymore. Just do deliveries for the next FIVE freaking days if you don't want to waste your money on ghosts you can't identify.
Day 11 or 12: Finally get to the point of the game... By pressing the "Pass time until midnight" button.

This whole time, bath, shower, watch tv, watch porn. Don't bother. They do nothing. Just keep grinding those deliveries. The tools you'll be using cost $300-$500 to upgrade. Clothes to improve beauty are going to be at least $240 to reach that 45 beauty benchmark.

Notice we haven't gotten to the ghost hunting part yet? Yeah. Cause if you don't unlock the knowledge of the rng generated ghost it throws at you beforehand, all you did was waste $35 bucks. If you did unlock the knowledge, then rng may or may not present the evidence you need to identify the ghost. Running away from ghosts requires energy, and if you've been trying to get money, you're left with no energy to flee from the ghosts. When you finally can hunt the ghosts, save your energy by wasting your day. At that point, why have a daytime cycle?

The ghost hunting part IS pretty fun, if you cheat to get there. So then I have to ask, why does this ghost hunting game that is promising at it's core have the world's most unbalanced, grindy, and uninteresting sandbox surrounding it and stopping players from being able to enjoy it?

Is it possible to ring the librarian with you into the other houses? She has stats in the top left corner, but I can't get her to find stuff for me like in the first house.

I had a very different experience. Totally agree that the daytime stuff is a little boring (I played it only to get the scenes), but they're not necessary at all, you can just skip to nighttime after visiting the witch. I hope future releases have more interesting stuff in the daytime, otherwise there's no point. I only did the delivery minigame twice; it's way easier to just get money ghost hunting, and even once you've got enough beauty, you still need loads of corruption to see whatever comes after 45 beauty.

You don't need to memorise anything at all, you can just use the guide. For example, if you're in a hot room, go to the guide and click on 'hot temperature', then you just need to find two more clues, which is very easy with the librarian girl, and fairly easy without her. Once you've got three clues, it'll tell you what the ghost is.

For the ghosts, I almost never run away and liberally use the librarian girl to find stuff for me, or deflect the ghost in a bind. Just put up with it, you have 100 starting sanity! I use 5 energy to go to the gym, and then the other 5 energy I save for hunting just in case the ghost starts chasing me. You can also buy energy drinks from the shop, but it's not necessary until you get to level 2.

My only complaint is that I feel like there needs to be some creampie gifs, definitely need to be thrown in at the end of sex events, the "blam!" moment. Hell, I think a "ghost orgasm meter/stat" would be nice too, increases whenever he molests the protagonist and when it reaches full he ejaculates- depending on sanity, affects where he does it like on body, in mouth, face, in pussy.

Still, great game! Hope we see ghosts following the protagonist home at some point and messing with her all over town.

I honestly don't understand how it's easy to get the clues without knowledge beforehand because the temperature between a preferred room and regular one overlaps pretty significantly if you don't have a ghost that has temperature as evidence. And even then the ghosts seem to move(?) because I sometimes get room temperatures that start at like 26 and they'd go down to 15. This just makes the 15% chance to even get evidence assuming you're even in the right room just feel so much more frustrating. And if you don't have the cross there's a good chance the game will just instantly kill you if you're at like 30/40 sanity, which goes down pretty quick if you're playing blind which seems to be what the game encourages you to do considering ghost hunting is the main draw while the match 3 game rewards you with like 9 dollars total at the start. But if you don't grind the match 3 then you don't have money to do anything if your first ghost hunts fail, which they most likely will.

Ghosts do move from time to time, which is probably good since they're not so free once you discover their fav room.

The temperature overlap can be fiddly, and has caught me up once before, so it's possible I've just been lucky; if I encounter a room with a high temperature like 26, I am assuming it's the ghost's favourite room, if it's 18 then I might test other rooms a bit. If there's two or even three rooms at around 18, I'll test them until one room is generally higher temperature - that's the worst case scenario. 30/40 sanity is really low, once your sanity gets to 40 I have the librarian girl follow me. Are you making use of her? At the start, she sometimes solves the entire thing for me, I almost always send her to find the clues unless I'm having difficulty finding the ghost room.

I only had one failed guess using this technique, and that was in the second house where you can't rely upon the librarian girl any more. I had 2/3 clues, so just had to guess between the remaining likely ghosts.
